Broadband Internet and the Knowlegde Society

Abstract

The Internet is the main technological vector of the information society. For the knowledge society were defined technological and functional vectors [I]. These are not only theoretical concepts, they are pillars for action toward such a society. Broadband Internet together with artificial intelligence becomes the main technological vectors for the knowledge society. Broadband Internet is not a simple technical no­tion. In this paper this notion is examined in the context of the concept of knowledge society.
