Methods for Solving Linear Systems of Equations on Parallel Machines

Razvan Bologa
Abstract

The article focuses on. methods of solving linear systems of equations on parallel machines insisting on quadrant interlocking. This type of methods, which are very good for using in parallel algorithms, will be presented in detail. The mathematical aspects are treated at a conceptual level. Given the limited space of the article some of the mathematical issues have been treated briefly.

Keywords

Parallel processing, liner systems, butterlly methods and quadrant interlocking
