Abstract

An incentive attached peer to peer (P2P) electronic coupon system is proposed. This system intends users to distribute the e-coupon in the mobile envirbnment by paying incentives to the mediators. The distribution history that indicates the mediators is recorded to the e-coupon, so users possess the important customer data in their mobile devices. In order to prevent evil users from interpolating the e-coupon and the distribution history, the security mechanism combined public-key crypto system, message digest, and digital-watennarking technologies are proposed. Through the experiment of the prototype system using PDA, it is confirmed that the developed system works efficiently.
