The paper deals with the design and application of a fuzzy controller in a robot drive system with induction machine, fed by a three-mono phased PWM current converter. Fuzzy numbers and their main operations are defined and the structure of a fuzzy speed controller is presented. The advantages offered by a fuzzy controller are demonstrated by simulated results discussed at the end of the paper.
