Abstract

Methods of signal analysis encompasses an extensive research topic with applications in many areas of mathematics, engineering, technology, biomedicine, seismography, econometrics and many others, based on processing of observed variables. In many cases these methods are closely related to optimization problems, statistical methods, and artificial neural networks.
