This system is based on a cooperative mall's basic conoept: "Consumer To Business". Only members can access the site of this system for shopping and joining auctions. Furthermore, the members can join various groups and propose products that they would desire through virtual group meetings. The ICtag store a group home page URL, which is used as an invitation tool for the group. The ICtags are sent with purchased products or other catalogs. The members can simply access from any PC to the intended page using the ICtag. This cooperative mall system started June 2000 in the Tokyo area of Japan as "Coopland Tokyo". And, similar systems will be expanded to other major cities in Japan by October. The total sales of 2002 are estimated to be nine billion yen (about ninety million Dollars).
