Intelligent Control. Telemanipulation and Microtelemanipulation

Heikki N. Koivo
Abstract

This paper surveys the research work in the areas of intelligent control, telemanipulation and microtelemanipulation at Tampere University of Technology. Neural networks are applied in static and dynamic fault diagnosis, and control. In fuzzy control the main research has been in the area of tuning. This includes tuning of multivariable fuzzy controllers and autotuning of fuzzy controllers. In telemanipulation the design of controllers for force reflection is discussed. A minitelemanipulator has been implemented.
